Ahh Hah ! Found That Sky Hook
Actually it is a 2" Schedule 40
Galvanized water pipe
with brackets welded on the bottom
end and an adjustable bracket for the top support
the man power is provided by a 1500 pound
electric winch and a 1/8" steel wire cable running
up to the pulley on top and then down to the section to be
lifted into place. This Gin Pole IS HEAVY and it needs to be
because of the weight of the sections to put up but the
electric winch serves double duty in that it lifts not only
the tower sections but also lifts itself up to the next level
