Notes
Within the 1054th, use of the term "rigger" seems to have included operators and pile bucks as well as hook tenders. It may have meant any non HQ personnel in the dock sections.

While in the Philippines, the more seriously sick and injured from the 1054th were treated at the 9th General Hospital on Biak. They would be evacuated on hospital ships such as the U.S.S. Dogwood and if returned to duty, flown back to Luzon.
