We Need and Appreciate Your Generosity

Sunday Collection for Jan. 4: $4,251.  To meet our annual operating budget, we need to collect at least $5,200 every week.  This week we were under by $949.  As of today, after the first week of the second half of the fiscal year, we are behind by $7,113 in meeting the annual operating budget.  Can you help us out a little bit more?

The second of two Baptism classes in English for the month of January for both parents and godparents of children under the ages of 7 years will be offered today, Jan. 11th in the parish office at 11am.  Godparents must be practicing Catholics, must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and if married, must be married in the Catholic Church.  Confirmation and marriage certificates will be required.  Civil marriage is not sufficient to be godparents.  If single, godparents cannot be living in a sexual relationship with another person.  Parents should be attending Mass every Sunday and registered members of St. Joseph parish.  Please register in the parish office before the classes.  Contact Fr. Royce or Vic Kusske for more information. 

Text Box: Engaged Encounter is time invested in your future. If you are serious about making your future marriage the best it can be, then an Engaged Encounter Weekend is for you and your fiancé(e). Next weekends scheduled are: January 16-18, 2004 at St. Peter Retreat Center, Cowiche. Registration deadline is January 9th. March 26-28, 2004 at the Lazy F Retreat Center in Ellensburg..
